WHY BENSEP MATTERS

Quality education needs connected systems and dependable support.

Schools and education managers need the tools, skills, infrastructure and continuing support to deliver quality education for every learner. BenSEP brings these elements together through a coordinated programme.

A school website helps people find information. The wider programme connects that public presence with everyday administration, teaching, learning, reporting and support. The aim is to make these services useful, dependable and sustainable.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Understanding BenSEP

Is participation already open across the state?

State-wide coverage is the ambition. School participation, learner access and component availability will follow confirmed institutional and delivery arrangements.

Will every school have its own mobile app?

Benue-SEMS includes school websites, portals and mobile application access. Schools can use shared applications with school identification and appropriate roles; a separate app-store application for each school is not assumed.

Are laptops free?

OLPF and OTOL will explore affordable acquisition and supported access arrangements. Prices, eligibility, sponsorship and ownership terms will be published when confirmed. Free distribution is not currently promised.

How do BenVA and the resources center differ?

BenVA provides structured online and blended learning with teaching, assessment and learner support. Benue-DERC organises quality-reviewed content, libraries and digital tools used across the programme.

How will progress be measured?

Indicators include active school use, demonstrated educator capability, learning participation, functional devices and laboratories, service reliability and user experience. Baselines and targets will be agreed before each phase.
